Sonoma Valley Museum of Art

The Sonoma Valley Museum of Art is a magnet of creative energy and cultural inspiration. This nonprofit, member-supported arts organization is located just a short stroll south of the historic Sonoma Plaza. Since its founding in 1999, the SVMA has welcomed more than 130,000 visitors to 70-plus exhibitions featuring local, regional, national, and international artists. Its exhibitions and educational programs engage the community in the art and ideas of our time. Furthermore, the goal of the museum is to encourage curiosity and innovation in young people.
Additionally, some of the past exhibits includes: Eye of the Beholder – The Sculpture and Early Prints of Nathan Oliveira. The Use of Color in Contemporary Art is one of the current exhibits and the image above is of it.
